Hi there, my name is Wynona. From a young age, I always knew I wanted to help other people, and I feel extremely fortunate to be pursuing that passion. I currently work as a Paediatric Allied Health Assistant here at Inside Out Therapy, while studying Occupational Therapy at university.
My passion for supporting children was sparked during one of my university placements, where I had the privilege of working alongside children at a special school. I found joy in building connections and sharing moments of laughter, all while helping children work towards their goals.
Since then, with IOT, I have been privileged to support children in their home and school environments in a playful, neurodiverse-affirming, family-centered, and informed way. This has included helping children with their daily routines, self-care, and school-readiness skills. I feel fortunate to walk alongside them in their journeys and to celebrate their progress with them.
Outside of IOT, I love spending time with my friends, family, and my puppy Lilly. Most of my spare time is spent at the gym, at the beach, or reading a book.
I look forward to continuing to support children and their families as they achieve their goals!
