My name is Lucy and I am an Occupational Therapist. I love my profession, as I have always been passionate about helping others to reach their full potential.
I am particularly passionate about supporting children to grow, develop and feel confident in their everyday lives. I take a warm, family-centred approach and believe that therapy is most meaningful when it is built around each child’s individual strengths, interests, and goals. I enjoy working closely with parents and carers to create practical strategies that fit naturally into everyday life and support children to feel confident and successful.
I have experience supporting children with Autism, ADHD, developmental delays and emotional or sensory regulation needs. I enjoy helping children build skills in play, social interaction, fine motor development and daily routines, while making therapy fun and engaging. I always aim to create a safe, supportive environment where children can thrive, and I am committed to using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches in my practice.
Outside of work, you will often find me enjoying the outdoors, hiking mountain trails or enjoying a coffee by the beach. I love spending time with friends and family and especially enjoy morning walks with my two dogs.
