Hello! My name is Lauren and I am a Paediatric Occupational Therapist at Inside Out Therapy.
I am passionate about supporting neurodiverse children and their families, and creating a safe, inclusive and empowering space where every child can thrive. I aim to approach therapy with empathy and respect for the diverse ways in which kids experience and interact with the world around them. Through utilising a child led and play-based approach, my priority is to provide support that is holistic, individualised and meaningful to both the child and their family.
Prior to occupational therapy, I worked at an oshc supporting children with a variety of diagnoses such as ASD, ADHD, Anxiety, Sensory Processing Disorder, etc. I loved building relationships with the children and their families and seeing them thrive in a play based environment.
In my spare time I love spending quality time with my family and friends, going for walks with my dog and collecting candles.
