Hello! My name is Lauren, and I am a new graduate Occupational Therapist who is enthusiastic about creating a fun, inclusive and safe environment for all my clients to learn within. I believe in using a strengths-based, family-centred approach to all sessions, to ensure the sessions are meaningful and achieve the best outcomes for both the child and their family.
I cannot wait to begin working as an OT because I love that I get to work (play) alongside children and their caregivers and enjoy the laughter, joy, interaction, and connection that children afford.
My experience includes working as an OT Assistant with adults and children with varying abilities in numerous settings. I worked alongside these clients assisting them to succeed in their daily activities. I underwent my final university placement in a paediatric setting where I had the opportunity to work with neurodiverse clients.
I’m also a Mum to two young girls who keep me busy but provide me with more joy than I thought possible. In my spare time, my family and I love to be active and spend most of our time outdoors. I absolutely adore spending my time at the beach and going on coffee dates (some might say I like coffee a little bit too much!)
I look forward to meeting you in the clinic soon!
