Meet Jeremy

Jeremy is a Senior Psychologist who is passionate about helping children, teenagers and families better understand themselves, navigate life’s challenges and build the confidence and skills to thrive. Drawn to psychology from a young age, Jeremy feels privileged to support young people as they grow, develop resilience and feel more understood in their everyday lives.

Jeremy has extensive experience working across psychology, disability services and Positive Behaviour Support, supporting children, adolescents, adults and families with a wide range of presentations. His experience includes working with autistic individuals, ADHD, intellectual disability, developmental delay, acquired brain injury, anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation difficulties, behavioural concerns and complex family circumstances. He also works closely with parents, schools, support coordinators and other allied health professionals to ensure children receive consistent, practical support across all areas of their lives.

Jeremy’s approach is neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed and strengths-based. He believes every child deserves to feel safe, respected and understood, and that therapy should be tailored to each person’s individual strengths, needs and goals. He enjoys helping families make sense of behaviour and emotions while developing practical strategies that can be used at home, at school and in the community.

Drawing on a range of evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), DBT-informed strategies, Positive Behaviour Support and person-centred therapy – Jeremy supports young people to develop emotional regulation, self-understanding, confidence and stronger relationships with the people around them.

Outside of work, Jeremy enjoys writing, reading, spending time with family and friends, and taking his very enthusiastic dog, Potato, for walks. He also loves stories, games and creative worlds, and enjoys celebrating the unique interests, humour and personalities that every individual brings into therapy.
