Hello! My name is Emily McCulloch, and I am an Occupational Therapist who is passionate about playful and child-led Occupational Therapy.
I employ a holistic approach to therapy, with a strong emphasis on developing connection and rapport with my families through providing an open space for conversation and engagement. I feel strongly about enabling children to reach their full potential and to embrace all elements of their unique self. I will love getting to know your little one- finding out everything that is loved by them including toys, foods, movies and songs, and making sure to integrate them into sessions!
I have worked in the Paediatric Occupational Therapy space in both the community and private practice settings. I have experience working with children diagnosed with autism, ADHD, global developmental delay, down syndrome and a range of other presentations. I have completed training and employ researched therapeutic approaches including DIR Floortime, the Safe and Sound Protocol and Neurodevelopmental Training.
In my spare time you will find me most likely spending time with my loved ones or curled up on the couch reading with my two pet cats. I also love to go to gym in my spare time and drink many vanilla iced lattes.
