Hi, I’m Christa!
I’m a passionate paediatric Occupational Therapist with more than 12 years of experience supporting children, young people and families across a wide range of abilities, needs and backgrounds.
I have a special interest in sensory integration and love helping families understand how a child’s sensory system influences the way they move, play, learn and engage with the world around them. Over the years, I’ve also developed experience in early intervention, feeding therapy, social skills development and group programs, allowing me to support children and families through a variety of challenges and goals.
I am particularly passionate about working with neurodivergent children and believe that when young people feel safe, understood and valued for who they are, they are better able to thrive. I love using play-based, child-led approaches that build on a child’s strengths while supporting meaningful participation in everyday life.
When I’m not at work, you’ll usually find me keeping my hands busy with crocheting, baking, puzzles or braiding hair. I’m also a big anime fan, enjoy long walks and never say no to a board game.
