Hello! My name is Belinda and I am a fun and caring Occupational Therapist.

I absolutely love what I do as an OT because I get to work with children on a daily basis and have lots of fun while doing so. Children bring me so much joy with their big imaginations, laughter and smiles.

I love helping children use their individual ideas and motivations to provide evidence-based intervention that enables them to achieve their goals. I put a lot of emphasis on collaborative goal setting to ensure that the focus of therapy targets all areas of meaning to the child and family.

I’ve been working with children and adolescents for eight years now. My experience includes working in hospitals, homes, community, and clinical settings as an Occupational Therapist. Over the last few years, I’ve worked with autistic kids and those diagnosed with ADHD, anxiety, Down Syndrome, rare chromosomal disorders, and Global Developmental Delays. I have a particular interest in school readiness and early intervention type work to enable young children to be successful in daily life.

My favourite things to do include drinking coffee with friends, playing with our therapy doggos, adventuring, and camping whenever I get the chance!

In my spare time, I love to go exploring outdoors either by foot or on my mountain bike. On the holidays, you can find me either at the beach or on the mountains somewhere with friends. I also love dinosaurs and have a large collection that I often use during therapy sessions with clients who share the same interest.
